I have attended the National Trout Festival which took place in Kalkaska, Michigan. This Festival is held in connection with the opening of trout season, the last Saturday of April each year. There are two parades, the rotary wood memorial trout run, fishing contest for all ages, games, entertainment, craft show, venders, flea market, a carnival and much more. The theme this year is "Hooked on Family Fun" and the fun continues from April 25th through the 29th, 2007.
